Environmental Justice and the Flint Water Crisis
By Dr. Paul Mohai, professor in the School of Natural Resources & Environment at the University of Michigan

Focusing on the water crisis in Flint, Michigan, Mohai’s talk will address the role that environmental factors play in accounting for racial and socioeconomic health disparities. His research focuses on environmental justice, public opinion and the environment, and influences on environmental policy making. He is co-founder of the Environmental Justice Program at the University of Michigan and has been a member of the EPA’s National Environmental Justice Advisory Council. 3:45 PM - 4:25 PM, McElroy Hall Auditorium
