This Poster will cover Organic Thermoelectric Materials and their optimization. Thermoelectric materials are materials that when applied a voltage, it will produce a temperature gradient and when applied a temperaturegradient it will produce a voltage. These types of materials are very useful in refrigeration and power generation. However, most of these materials are made from non-renewable resources, which is why my research deals with organic thermoelectric materials. All my research is done computationally, so all the molecules that we are optimizing in order to get the best power factor for a thermoelectric are created digitally and then put through various geometery and thermal/electrical property calculations. My poster will cover the methodology of my research as well as the theory behind it. As well as any results that I have discovered.
